How many revisions, and what counts as one
Written out here so nothing has to be guessed at halfway through the build.
The short version
- During the build
- 2 to 9 rounds
- depending on the package
- First 30 days after launch
- 5 small requests
- free, and separate from your rounds
- If you run out
- IDR 500K to 2 million
- per extra round, quoted up front
So what actually counts as a "round"?
Think of it as one trip back and forth. You send your notes, we work through them, we send the result back for you to check. One completed trip is one round.
You send one list of notes
Everything you want changed, written out in one message.
We work through all of it
The whole list gets handled together, not one item at a time.
We send it back for you to check
Anything still off becomes the next round.
Ten notes in one message is still 1 round. Not 10.
So write as much as you need in one go. What burns your allowance is sending notes one at a time through the day, not the length of the list.
How many rounds do you get?
It depends on whether your package is built in one pass or in stages. Both are written out below with the actual numbers.
Built in one pass
A landing page is a single page. There are no checkpoints along the way, so the allowance covers the whole project through to launch.
- Landing Page · StarterIDR 2M2 rounds
- Landing Page · ProfessionalIDR 3.5M3 rounds
- Landing Page · BusinessIDR 6M5 rounds
Built in 3 stages
Multi-page sites are built in stages. Each stage gets its own 3 rounds, so it is not 3 for the entire project.
- Page skeletonwireframe, no colour yet3 rounds
- Look and feelfinished design, colour and photos in3 rounds
- The real sitedevelopment, clickable and working3 rounds
Applies to these three packages
- Business Website · EssentialIDR 8M
- Business Website · PlusIDR 20M
Out of rounds and still want changes? That is fine. An extra round is IDR 500K to IDR 1,000,000 on the standard packages and IDR 1,500,000 to IDR 2,000,000 on Custom Property. We quote it up front, never quietly on the invoice.
5
small requests
free, first 30 days after launch
Once the site is live you still get 5 small requests
A small request is a content change that does not touch the design and does not add a page. This allowance is separate from the rounds above and takes nothing away from them.
What counts as a small request
- Change the nightly rate
- Swap a room photo
- Change the WhatsApp number
- Fix a typo
- Update check-in times
Adding a new page or a new feature is not a small request. That is a new project and we quote it before starting.
During the build, changes this small are free and are not counted at all. The limit of 5 only starts once the site is live.
Which changes use up a round?
Costs you nothing
- Change the nightly rate from IDR 1.8M to IDR 2M
- Swap three room photos for new ones at the same size
- Fix a typo in the villa name and the WhatsApp number
- Add one bullet to an amenity list that already exists
Uses one round
- Move the photo gallery from below the price to above it
- Change the colour palette across the whole site
- Change the font and heading sizes on every page
- Restructure the navigation menu
Not a revision, billed separately
- Add a page that never existed before
- Add a new feature such as a booking form or a popup
- Redraw the design concept from scratch after design sign-off
- Add a third language beyond Indonesian and English
Anything in the first column we handle as we go, folded into the round already in progress. So you never have to sit on a small note for fear of spending your allowance.
Three rules that keep this fair on both sides
- 1
Send your notes together in one list
Ten notes sent at once is one round. Sent one at a time through the day, each note interrupts work already in progress, and that is what makes projects run late. Collect them, then send once.
- 2
One person sends them
We are glad to have your whole team look, but the notes need to arrive through one door. Feedback arriving separately from several people tends to contradict itself, and what it burns is your own round allowance.
- 3
Once a stage is approved, going back uses a round
If you have signed off the design and development has started, changing the layout means redoing finished work. That is allowed, but it counts as a round rather than a small correction.
Still unclear on anything about revisions?
Ask before we start, not after. We will answer straight, including when the answer is that it gets billed separately.
