What applies to every website package
These terms cover website packages: what we need to start, what happens to your money if you stop, and who owns what at launch. Booking engines and custom software have their own terms.
From the first call to the final payment
These terms bind from the day the contract is signed. Before that, this page is information, so you know exactly what you would be signing. Four steps, two payments, and every stage leaves its own document behind.
Consultation
Thirty minutes, free, nothing billed. This is where we settle what gets built and what it costs.
Contract and deposit invoice
Scope, price and the live date go in the contract, not in a chat thread. Once both sides sign, the 50% deposit invoice follows.
Build
Design starts once the deposit clears. Revisions happen inside this stage, not after the site is live.
Final payment
The remaining 50% is invoiced once you approve the final version on staging, before the site moves to your main domain. You receive the invoice and the receipt.
Before and during the build
Most project delays are not about code. They are about material that has not arrived and feedback that contradicts itself. These seven terms are what keep the deadline in the contract reasonable for both sides.
Whose Name the Contract Is In
You can contract as an individual or through a legal entity: a PT Perorangan, a CV, or a PT. All three are equally valid under Indonesian law, and none of them changes the price or the scope. What changes is the name on the contract, on the invoice, and on the assets, because the domain and the code are always registered to whoever signs. If your entity is still being set up, sign personally now and we transfer it at no cost once the deed is issued.
Material Deadline
We ask for materials within 14 days of the deposit. Complete materials means: logo, photos (or a photo shoot date), business details (name, address, contact, prices or services), and domain access if you already have one. We confirm "materials complete" in writing within 1 working day of receiving the last item, and the schedule runs from there. We write the page copy. If there is wording you do want on the site, just send it over, Word or Google Docs is fine, and we will shape it to sit with the rest of the pages. Past 14 days, the schedule moves by the number of days materials are late, with no late discount from us. Past 30 days, the project is rescheduled into the next open slot: it is not treated as finished, and nothing more is billed before the site goes live.
One Point of Contact
Nominate one person to gather and send all feedback. We are glad to have your whole team look, but the notes need to arrive through one door. Feedback arriving separately from several people tends to contradict itself, and that eats your own revision quota.
Photo Submission Limit
Send up to 60 photos and we will pick the ones that fit your package's gallery. If you want to send more, please shortlist your best 60 first. Sifting hundreds of raw photos is a job of its own and is not part of the package price.
The Photos and Material You Send
By sending photos, a logo, video, and text, you confirm you have the right to use them. This is not a formality: villa photography is often licensed for one use rather than sold outright, and photos from an OTA listing usually belong to the platform, not to you. If a third party makes a claim over material you supplied, that sits with you, and we will help swap it out quickly. Not sure where your photos stand? Say so and we will find licence-free alternatives at no extra cost.
Licensed Assets
Premium fonts, paid stock photos, licensed icons, and paid plugins are covered by the client. We always offer a good free alternative first, and we never buy anything without your approval.
Late Delivery Penalty (our side)
5% off per week of delay, capped at 15% of the contract value, only for delays caused purely by Dewata Tech (not late materials, feedback or access from the client). The deadline runs from complete materials, and your review time is not counted. The discount comes off the final payment. If we cannot finish, or run more than 3 weeks past the contract date on our side, you may stop and get your full deposit back.
What Happens to Your Money if You Stop Partway?
BEFORE YOUR SITE GOES LIVE
- You cancel before we send the first design
- Transferred back within 7 working days.
- You cancel after the first design is sent, before the site reaches staging
- The design work is done, so half the work is already spent.
- You cancel after the site reaches staging
- The design and most of the build are already done.
- Your site is already live
- Payment for work already delivered is not returned. Defects in our work are still fixed, and your rights under Indonesia's Consumer Protection Law still apply. The site is running, the code is yours once paid in full, plus 30 days of bug fixes and 5 small requests within 30 days.
CARE PLAN SUBSCRIPTION
- Within the first 30 days, stop and get a full refund: the month paid on monthly billing, the whole annual payment on yearly billing.
- Paying monthly: stop any time with no penalty, and service runs to the end of the month already paid. Paying yearly: after 30 days, the months not yet used become credit valid for 12 months on any of our services. If the service stops because of us, the unused months are refunded.
After the site goes live
Handover is not the end of the relationship, and it is not a lifetime contract either. These four terms cover what becomes yours and when, what we keep, what happens if a renewal lapses, and why a care plan has no minimum term.
When the Source Code Becomes Yours
The domain is in your name from day one. Hosting runs in our account and is paid through the annual fee. The code, the design files, and the content become yours once paid in full, which is after you approve the final version on staging and before the site moves to your main domain. After that we hold no licence back and charge nothing to release it: the repository, the Figma files, and the CMS account (if your package uses one) are handed over on handover day. If you want to move to your own hosting account, we help you move at no cost, and the hosting part of the annual fee stops.
File Retention After Handover
We keep raw files and project backups for 12 months after launch. What you need is handed over on handover day: the domain and analytics access in your name, plus the code and design files once paid in full. Hosting stays in our account for as long as the annual fee is paid. After 12 months our copy of the archive may be deleted.
If a Renewal Is Late or Stopped
We remind you before the due date. After it there is a 14-day grace period and the site stays online. After 14 days our hosting for that site is paused, not deleted. The domain, source code and content stay yours, and we hand them over so the site can move to other hosting. We keep the data for 60 days from the pause. No late interest is charged. The villa booking engine payment bridge runs while this annual fee is paid; if it stops, we hand over its code. Guest data and booking history stay in the booking engine account in your own name.
Care Plan Has No Minimum Term
Care Plan is optional and has no minimum term. Within the first 30 days, stop and get a full refund. On monthly billing you can stop any time, and service runs to the end of the month already paid. Yearly billing keeps the price fixed in years one and two, and from year three it rises 6% to 10%, with 60 days' notice; stop after 30 days and the months not yet used become credit valid for 12 months. If the service stops because of us, the unused months are refunded. A tier change takes effect from the next month. What it covers: restorable backups, library and plugin updates, bug fixes after the first 30 days, your tier's monthly allowance of small change requests handled together in one work window, and a monthly report on Care Standard. Care Plan does not include hosting. Billed separately: new pages, new features, redesigns, and the annual hosting and domain fee. Without a Care Plan your site stays online as long as the annual fee is paid.
