Dewata Tech is a Bali-based web studio built around one outcome: local businesses taking bookings directly, without a middleman clipping the margin. We started in November 2025 and are run by two Balinese brothers. Property is our main specialisation: villa owners, villa management companies, boutique hotels, and property agencies. A two-person core team. Weida handles the client side: consultation, quotes, and communication while the project runs. Wijaya handles engineering and operations: the build, the integrations, and maintenance after launch. There is no sales layer in between, so whoever replies on WhatsApp knows what is inside your project. The honest trade-off: we take on a limited number of projects at a time so a queue never pushes your launch date.

Neither, exactly. We run two technology tracks and design both from scratch for your brand. The WordPress track covers standard needs at a lower entry cost, and the Next.js track is for sites that need real speed, technical SEO, or their own booking engine. We do not resell marketplace themes with the logo swapped. During the consultation we tell you which track makes sense for your goal and budget, including when the answer is the cheaper one.

No. It is outside our menu, and we would rather say so upfront than take the job and learn on your budget. What we build is a website that is genuinely fast and comfortable on a phone screen, because that is where villa guests and Indonesian buyers actually open your link. If you truly need a native app, we say so in the first conversation so you do not waste time.

Yes, in one productised form: an AI chatbot for your website. It is trained on your property or business data, answers guest questions around the clock, and hands the conversation to WhatsApp when someone is ready to book. Pricing and limits are published on the AI Chatbot page. Beyond that, we do not sell custom AI projects as a regular service.

Yes, for three verticals that already have their own packages. Travel and tour operators through the Travel packages. Product brands that want their own store and an exit from marketplace fees through the Online Store packages. Clinics, gyms, and consultants whose calendars run on appointments through the Reservation System packages. A reservation system is not a villa booking engine: it schedules people and rooms, not nights.

We do not build native mobile apps, we do not run ads to a site that is not ready to receive the traffic, and we do not accept deadlines that would force us to cut QA. For genuinely bespoke systems there is a Custom Software track with a discovery call and a written quote, typically starting around IDR 35M. Below that number, a published package is almost always the more sensible choice for you.

Prices are published on the page, not withheld until you fill in a form. Landing pages start at IDR 1,500,000 and professional websites at IDR 3,200,000, while villa booking engines are scoped individually because they involve a payment gateway and an admin dashboard. Monthly services such as Care Plan and SEO retainers have their own published rates. For genuinely bespoke systems, the Custom Software track is quoted in writing after a free 30-minute discovery call.

50% upfront and 50% at launch. That is the only schedule for website packages, with nothing to negotiate. Custom Software is billed per milestone because the build runs far longer, typically 30% at kickoff, 30% at the mid-build demo, 30% pre-launch, and 10% at release. We accept bank transfer, QRIS, credit cards via Midtrans, and Wise or Stripe for international clients.

No, and the line that most often surprises people elsewhere is the one we write out in full: hosting. The first year is included in the package price. From year two it is billed separately as infrastructure renewal: IDR 1M to IDR 2M a year for a landing page depending on the tier, IDR 5M for a professional website, IDR 20M for a booking engine. Where we pass hosting straight through from the vendor, you see the original invoice with no markup, and any surplus from the exchange-rate buffer is credited back to you.

What flexes is scope, not the package price. If your budget sits below the tier you had in mind, we usually suggest starting one tier smaller and moving up once the site earns, rather than quietly hollowing out a bigger package until the quality drops. If your requirement really does sit outside every package, the Custom Software track is quoted per project after discovery.

One, and the number is fixed: pay 12 months of Care Plan upfront and you get 2 months free, roughly 17%. If you stop partway, the remaining balance is credited to your next bill rather than forfeited. Beyond that we do not run seasonal discounts on website packages, because a price that moves up and down only punishes the client who bought first.

Website packages are always 50/50: 50% upfront, 50% at launch. Care Plans and SEO retainers are billed monthly, or annually if you want the two-month saving. Custom Software is billed per milestone. Those three, and which one applies is decided by the product, not by negotiation.

For monthly services, yes, at any time. Care Plan has no lock-in contract: move up a tier, move down, or stop entirely with pro-rata billing to the end of the active period, and the first month carries a 30-day money-back guarantee. For a website package already in progress, moving up a tier means paying the difference. To cancel, the tiered refund policy applies: 100% of the deposit within 7 days before design, 50% once design is approved, and 25% plus partial source code after the staging phase.

No. The initial consultation is free. On the Custom Software track, the 30 to 60 minute discovery call and the written estimate within 48 hours are free as well. You only pay once scope is agreed and the kickoff invoice is issued.

Four steps. An initial consultation to map the goal and the constraints. Planning and design: wireframes, timeline, and written pricing before a single line of code. Development with regular updates and feedback sessions. Then launch and support afterwards. Each stage has an approval point, so nothing moves to the next stage until you have signed off on the current one.

The numbers are written on each package, in working days. Landing pages take 3 to 14 working days depending on tier. Professional websites take 7 to 30 working days. Villa booking engines take 21 to 30 days because of the payment gateway and admin dashboard. Custom Software is scoped per milestone after discovery. The clock starts when your materials are complete, and that is the part that most often moves the date.

WhatsApp for day-to-day communication, plus scheduled video calls to review progress at each approval point. We send a staging link as soon as there is something to look at, so you judge a live clickable version rather than a screenshot. We are a small team, so whoever replies to your message is the person doing the work.

Revisions fall into 3 categories. Minor changes are free, up to 5 batches per project phase, submitted together in a single list. A major change consumes one round: landing pages get 2 to 5 rounds depending on tier, business websites and booking engines get 3 rounds at each phase. Out-of-scope work is quoted separately. Three things, and the sooner they are complete the sooner you launch: photo and video material, the text or bullet points for each page, and domain access if you already own one. If the property photography is not up to standard, that is the single most common conversion blocker we run into, and there is a separate villa photography package to fix it. Everything else, from hosting to SSL to technical setup, is on us.

Two tracks: WordPress for standard needs, and Next.js with React for sites that need speed, technical SEO, or their own booking engine. Data and backend run on Supabase, deployment on Vercel. Integrations we handle routinely: Midtrans or Xendit payment gateways, channel managers and iCal calendars for villas, WhatsApp, plus Google Analytics and Search Console. If you already have a system running, send the documentation and we check whether it can be connected before promising anything.

You do, from day one. The domain and hosting account are registered in your name, and the source code and all assets are yours once the final payment clears. That is the fundamental difference from an OTA listing: nobody else can take this asset away, and it does not disappear if our working relationship ends.

Migration to your own accounts costs nothing. We hand over repository access, handover documentation, and a 30-minute transition call over Zoom. No lock-in, no exit fee, and no piece of the code deliberately withheld to make leaving difficult.

After that, maintenance runs through the optional Care Plan, starting at IDR 250K a month. If you choose not to subscribe, the site stays online as long as the annual infrastructure renewal is paid.

Access to production accounts is limited to whoever is working on your project, and after handover the credentials move entirely into your hands.

Yes, and prepared for Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law as well. What ships: a cookie consent banner using Google Consent Mode v2, so analytics and advertising tags only fire after a visitor agrees, a privacy policy page, a route for deleting visitor data, and storage with certified providers. For villas whose guests come largely from Europe and Australia, this part is not a formality.

It depends on whether you are on a Care Plan. With one, monitoring is running and we start work inside the written response window for your tier, then restore from a scheduled backup. Without one, backups and recovery sit with you or your hosting provider, and we can still help on an hourly basis. That is the most honest reason Care Plan exists, and equally the reason it stays optional.

No. If you are comfortable handling it yourself, just pay the annual infrastructure renewal and the site stays online. Care Plan is for owners who want backups, security updates, and fixes with written response times handled by our team. Landing pages fit Care Lite at IDR 250K a month, professional websites fit Care Standard at IDR 500K a month, and sites with a booking engine start at Care Booking.

It depends on your Care Plan tier. If something breaks we start fixing within 72 hours on Care Lite, 48 hours on Care Standard, 12 hours on Direct Booking Partner, and 72 hours on Care Booking Starter. Those numbers are how fast we reply and start work, not how fast it is finished. We give you the completion estimate in the first reply.

We recommend monthly security updates and periodic performance reviews. Coverage differs by tier: Care Lite gets weekly backups and monthly security updates with no performance report; Care Standard gets daily backups, twice-monthly security updates, and a monthly Search Console plus Lighthouse review; Care Booking adds security audits and a more detailed monthly report.
